Sterling by Music Man StingRay S.U.B. Series electric four-string bass guitar. The instrument features a solid hardwood body finished in olive drab green with a white circular pickguard. It has a bolt-on maple neck and a maple fingerboard with 21 frets and black dot inlays. The electronics consist of a single humbucking pickup in the bridge position, controlled by three chrome knobs on a crescent-shaped metal plate. The headstock is equipped with four chrome open-gear tuning machines in a 3+1 configuration. Inscriptions on the headstock include Sterling by MUSIC MAN, StingRay, and S.U.B. SERIES on the front, and MADE IN INDONESIA on the back. The chrome neck plate is stamped with the maker logo and serial number B158625. The body is decorated with several non-original decals, including a shark-mouth design, a distressed black American flag, two bullet-hole stickers, and a WWII 1941 commemorative emblem. A chrome finger rest has been added to the pickguard using a visible adhesive, and a white plastic pick holder is attached below the strings. A camouflage-patterned nylon strap is included.
