A Squier by Fender Precision Bass Special electric bass guitar from the Standard Series. This four-string instrument features a solid wood body finished in a three-color sunburst. It is equipped with a bolt-on maple neck featuring a dark skunk stripe on the reverse and a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and pearloid dot inlays. The electronics consist of a passive P/J pickup configuration, including one split-coil pickup in the middle position and one single-coil bridge pickup, managed by three knurled chrome control knobs. The body is fitted with a four-ply tortoise shell style pickguard. Hardware includes four chrome-finish open-gear clover tuning machines and a fixed top-loading bridge. The front of the headstock is marked Squier PRECISION BASS by Fender Standard SERIES. The reverse of the headstock is marked Designed and Backed by Fender Crafted in Indonesia and bears the serial number IC041034152, indicating manufacture in 2004. A black embossed leather-style guitar strap is included.
