Scout's notes

This is a Peavey Predator electric guitar, a double-cutaway model in the Stratocaster style. Handcrafted in the USA, the instrument features a solid wood body with a red gloss finish. The neck is constructed from one piece of maple with a walnut skunk stripe on the reverse and an integrated maple fingerboard featuring black dot position inlays. The electronics consist of three single-coil pickups (SSS configuration) controlled by a five-way blade selector switch, one master volume knob, and two tone knobs. The hardware includes chrome-plated six-in-line closed-back tuning machines and a six-point vintage-style tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles and original tremolo arm. The face of the headstock is marked with the Peavey logo and Predator model name. The back of the headstock is stamped with the serial number 05787614 and bears the text U.S. PATENT NO. 4,237,944 AND DES 314,784 along with HANDCRAFTED IN THE U.S.A.
