Scout's notes

A vintage Kustom Electronics, Inc. solid-state amplifier head, model K150-1, manufactured in Chanute, Kansas. This unit is characterized by the brand signature black padded and pleated tuck-and-roll Naugahyde upholstery over a wooden frame. The front control panel features four independent channels, each equipped with two 1/4 inch input jacks and four silver-tone rotary control knobs for volume, reverb, treble, and bass. A stylized Kustom script logo and 200 model designation are centered on the panel next to a toggle power switch. The rear panel includes an identification plate marked with model number K150-1 and serial number 27209, as well as two 1/4 inch speaker output jacks, one ungrounded accessory power outlet, a fuse holder, and integrated cord storage cleats with a permanently attached two-prong power cord. Circular metal mounting plates are located on the side panels for securing the head to a stand or matching speaker cabinet. A safety label on the rear identifies the unit as 100W RMS, 120V, 60Hz, 1.8 Amps.
