This is a Peavey Patriot solid body electric guitar, handcrafted in the United States during the mid-1980s. The instrument features a solid hardwood body with a contoured double-cutaway design and a natural reddish-brown stain finish. The bolt-on maple neck is fitted with a maple fingerboard featuring 22 frets and black dot position inlays. The headstock displays the Peavey logo, the model name Patriot, and the text Handcrafted in the U.S.A. by.<BR><BR>The electronic configuration consists of two Peavey Super Ferrite single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions. Each pickup cover is molded with the Peavey logo and the text Super Ferrite and Made in U.S.A. Controls include one master volume knob, one master tone knob, and a three-way toggle pickup selector switch located on the upper horn of the three-ply black plastic pickguard. The hardware includes a chrome-finished fixed bridge with six individual adjustable saddles, chrome-finished enclosed tuning machines, and a chrome-finished side-mounted output jack. The reverse of the headstock features the stamped serial number 02427097 and printed U.S. Patent numbers 4,237,944 and DES 255,481.
