Scout's notes

A single-cutaway solid body electric guitar featuring a sunburst-finished carved top on a solid body with a reddish-stained back and neck. The instrument is designed in the style of a Gibson Les Paul Standard. The fretboard is constructed with cream-colored binding and trapezoid-shaped pearloid inlays. Hardware includes two humbucking pickups with chrome-plated covers, a cream-colored pickguard, a Tune-o-matic bridge, and a stopbar tailpiece. The electronics are controlled by four gold-colored top hat knobs and a three-way toggle switch with a Rhythm/Treble indicator ring. The headstock bears a white adhesive label with the characters G, i, b, s, o, n and L, P applied over the finish. The guitar is accompanied by a black crocodile-patterned soft-sided gig bag. The exterior of the case features a small white sticker printed with 5270 / 10,000 and an old USPS Standard Mail label indicating shipment between California and Tennessee. A pink Planet Waves brand guitar pick is included in the case pocket.
